Tirecraft Thinks Pink…In More Ways Than One

Hey there, Cruisers! Since it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, we’re thinking a little more pink around Cruis’news to show support to our family, friends, and fans who have dealt with this horrible cancer. We came across a unique way for all of you to show some support and get a little ‘bling’ for your classic. After all, you sometimes see churches and schools reaching out to the communities, hair salons and dry cleaners supporting a good cause here and there, but it’s not every day you see a tire company step out of the woodwork to take customer care to the next level.

Since 2006, Tirecraft has raised over $200,000 to support breast cancer research through their annual golf tournament in Ontario (this year’s event marked the fifth year for the tournament and saw over $57,000 raised) and another $12,000 through the sale of pink valve caps. That’s right…pink valve caps.

To show their support, Tirecraft is selling pink valve caps at each of their locations throughout Canada for $5 a pack with all the proceeds going directly to the CIBC Run for the Cure and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

With the help of its customers, employees, and partners like the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Tirecraft hopes to see the end of this disease that will affect the lives of so many people.
