Cruis’news Caravan 2011 Update

1970 Chevy Chevelle

After much consideration, the departure location for the Cruisnews Caravan Two has been chosen and is Classic Auto Showplace in Troy, MI which has parking for 1,000s of cruisers! They are located behind Macys at Oakland Mall (north east corner of 14 Mile & I-75). This is an easy on and off exit on I-75. Coffee and donuts will be provided. For those that need to buy a “cruiser” to tag along, the showroom will be open. Goody bags stuffed with cool swag will be distributed to all registered Cruisnews Caravan cruisers. (if not registered please do so today see below). There will also be drawings for gas cards!!! Come early and have fun.

Simply meet up in the parking lot between 7:00-8:00 am on Wednesday, June 8. Caravan will leave at 9:00am sharp! (no if ands or buts) For those not able to make the starting point the Cruise route will be as follows, I-75 south to 696 west to I-275 south to M-14 west to I-94 west to I-69 south. Feel free to join along the way, just look for the all the cool hot rods. Our estimated time of arrival in Indianapolis is 3:00p.m. Once in Indianapolis the fun begins as we meet up with 1000s of like-minded car buffs from across the U.S. Parking is first come first served so stay close to your buddies.

After spending the night in Indy, the following morning, Thursday, June 9, we will follow the Hot Rod tour route to Muskegon. Once again parking is first come first served. There we will have a blast schmoozing with fellow hot rodders. The tour route will continue the next day, Friday June10, back to our hometown and meet up at Metro Beach!  Metro-Detroit will once again show the rest of the U.S how to throw one heck-of-a cruise night!
