So plan on spending some time rummaging through the abundant supply of new and used parts. It is a Mopar lover paradise!
The Walter P. Chrysler Club-Great Lakes Region started its first WPC winter swap meet on January 30th 1983. 2011 will mark the 29th consecutive year for our annual “All Mopar” Swap Meet.
The WPC Swap Meet has been held at various venues over the years, starting with the garage area of Mt. Clemens Dodge a mere 80 tables. Over the years the location was changed to Sterling Hts Dodge, then Meadowbrook Dodge. The club was always looking for a larger space because as the result of steady growth with each year that passed. For many years it was held at Motech, WPC took over the whole building. When Motech closed we moved to St. Raymonds Church for a few years before going to Macomb Community College inside the Automotive Building. This eventually led us to the Expo Center at Macomb College for quite a few years.
We are currently celebrating our 2nd year are at the Gibraltar Trade Center North in Mt. Clemens, Mi. We presently fill 515 tables with everything from lug nuts to crate motors. WPC Club likes to think we are the longest running all Mopar Swap Meet in Michigan. The club is a Chryser Product Restorers Club. We are the Great Lakes Region, part of the National Club located in Kalamazoo MI. We welcome all Chrysler related autos, Hudson, AMC, Nash, Chalmers, Maxwell etc. For many years the club has donated scholarships to the automotive students at MCCC. We also sponsor a Car Show and Outdoor Swap Meet @ the Chrysler Centerline Parts Depot held in September.
The date for the big “All Mopar” WPC winter swap is January 30th, 2011. For additional information email email@example.com or call John Conner @ 586-322-8518 or Dave Radcliff @ 586859-2575
