2010 Back to the Bricks Cruise Schedule

There's more than just one big Cruise happening this weekend. The same weekend at the Woodward Dream Cruise, Flint is having their "Back to the Bricks" cruise. If you're planning on making it out there or even doing the long loop through both on Saturday, here is the schedule.

Friday, August 20 

7:00 am-10:00 am – ELGA Credit Union FREE Pancake Breakfast for first 500 in a classic car in UM-Flint White lot, N. Saginaw Street and Fifth Avenue.

11:00 am-3:00 pm – FREE hot dog lunch to cruisers at Duke’s Car Stereo – 2833 S. Dort Hwy.

5:00 pm-7:00 pm – Scruffy Dog on stage in Saginaw Street central lot(Sponsored by Paragon Corvette Reproductions).

6:00 pm-10:00 pm – Car Show, Downtown Flint.

6:00 pm-10:00 pm – Shirley Muldowney in person! On the central lot(Presented by Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy).

7:00 pm-8:30 pm – The Flint Symphony Orchestra presents Flash Cadillac concert on Saginaw Street in front of McFarlan Park. Broadcast LIVE on ABC TV12.*

8:30 pm-10:00 pm – Fairlanes concert on stage in Saginaw Street central lot.

Saturday, August 21

6:00 am – Show Car parking begins, Downtown Flint.

8:00 am-8:00 pm – Car Show opening ceremony. Official opening with invocation Central lot, Downtown Flint.

8:00 am-8:00 pm – Automotive Vendors, Antique Camper Display, on Harrison Street.

8:00 am-11:00 am – Bob Steel on stage in Saginaw Street central lot.

8:00 am-8:00 pm – Shirley Muldowney in person! On the central lot(Presented by Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy).

8:00 am-6:00 pm – “Doc Watson” exhibit at Red Ink Flint Galleries (625 S. Saginaw St.).*

9:00 am-5:00 pm – Women’s Marketplace, University Pavilion.

10:00 am-6:00 pm – Antique Fire Truck display on Harrison Street Bridge over Flint River.

10 am/2 pm/4 pm – Dragster Blasts in central lot.

1:00 pm-4:30 pm – Cal Roberts & Wayne performing at McFarlan Park.

11:00 am-1:00 pm – Blue Hawaiians on stage in Saginaw Street central lot(Sponsored by ParagonCorvette Reproductions).

1:00 pm-5:00 pm – Bob Steel on stage in Saginaw Street central lot.

1:00 pm-2:00 pm – Fashion Show, Women’s Marketplace in the University Pavilion.
