1966 Pontiac 2+2

1966 Pontiac 2+2

The Pontiac 2+2 was a full size high performance car and often referred to as the " big brother" of the GTO. Introduced in 1964 as an interior option for the Catalina with special door panels, bucket seats, and center console.

In 1965 it became a standalone model and the name Catalina was no longer found on the car. In 1965 the 2+2 was given the 421 cubic inch Power Plant, dual exhaust, and heavy-duty front springs. It officially became it's own series in 1966. The 2+2 was discontinued in the United States in 1967 but continued as a series in Canada until 1970.

I think this is the grand daddy of all GTO! Pontiac have been one of the best muscle cars during the 60's to 70's and Pontiac Parts is one of the most highly marketed due to its highly reliable nature.
